The indigenous people of the Kodiak Island Archipelago, parts of the Alaska and Kenai peninsulas, and parts of Prince William Sound. It is also their language. The people are also known as Sugpiaq (soogk-bee’auk). They are not to be confused with the Aleut people, who live in the Aleutian and Pribilof islands.
